Terms and Conditions
1. Clinical reports
All the clinical letters/reports completed by the Insight Mental Health professionals will be shared with your GP. This is to ensure continuity of care and ongoing effective communication between the different health related settings
2. Fees terms
All accounts must be settled before the time of appointments
Payment is expected up to 48 hours before the date of the appointment
We reserve the right to cancel appointments which payment has not been received until 48 hours before the date of the appointment
Appointments not attended or cancelled with less than 48h notice will be charged at the agreed rate
We offer the option of payment by using GoCardless and we strongly recommend the use of this option to avoid delays and appointments being cancelled
3. Support Interventions
We offer routine and planned appointments.
We are unable to offer urgent or crisis support. If you require urgent support or intervention, please contact the emergency services, as our service will not be suitable for you
4. Appointment Letters
Please be aware that our clinical letters are a summary of the clinical assessment and the agreed treatment plan. If you require a full report for any other purpose, please contact us
5. Clinical Assessment
If a specific assessment is required, such as a medico-legal report, please inform us at the time of the initial contact
We will be able to facilitate an assessment but we cannot guarantee that a specific diagnosis will be provided
Medication will not be offered unless an assessment has been completed
6. Records keeping
We keep personal data collected according to our Data Protection policy
We are a Data Protection Registered company with the Information Commissioner's Office, ensuring you that we comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
We are a paper free organization and we prioritize electronic communication
We do not keep a paper record. All paper documents will be scanned and shred. All our records are kept electronically
7. Respect
Respect is one of our values and we aim to be respectful of our clients and their relatives in everything that we do
As we respect our clients and their relatives, we also expect our professionals to be respected
Any form of abuse or disrespect will not be tolerated and we reserve the right to inform the relevant authorities
If any form of abuse or disrespect is experienced we will be unable to provide further support and any contact will be ended with immediate effect
We will be unable to provide any form of service that we consider not to be safe for any of our professionals or to the client
